Sunday Children and Youth Ministries:
Worship is for the whole family--everyone has the opportunity to worship God and grow in him.
For some families, worship is a family event, and at Collingwood CRC, children of all ages are welcome to worship and participate for the entire worship service.
For others families, we recognize that children and adults may learn better when they have their own space to learn. Families are encouraged to worship together during the beginning of the service, and before the teaching time, children aged 3-6 are welcome join in the Children in Worship program downstairs. Before they continue worship downstairs, children are invited to come to the front where the congregation blesses the children saying "The Lord be with you" and the children respond, "and also with you!"
All of our children's ministry leaders are required to complete police record checks, in keeping with our Safe Church Policy.
Nursery for 0-36 months olds. Nursery is located just down the stairs located inside the north entrance of the building. Parents of young children are also welcome to drop-off their young children for the service. We strive to offer quality childcare as an available option.
Our nursery provides a clean, pleasant atmosphere supervised by competent and cheerful attendants providing childcare during all morning services.

It invites children to experience the wonder and mystery of God through a unique story-telling format and multi-sensory materials. Children join their families for the opening of worship, and are dismissed before the sermon.
